Iran has warned Israel to be ready for a terrific counter-response, on Monday.
Israel had previously attacked on the military installations of Iran. Now, Iran has vowed to respond to Israel’s attacks on military sites within its borders.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that Tehran will use all its power to counter Israel’s attack.
“Iran’s response will be proportionate to the scope of the Israeli strike,” Baghaei stated.
To discuss the situation Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had a meeting of officials on Sunday.
As per Iranian media reports Khamenei advised officials to plan a show of strength, warning against exaggerating or downplaying Israel’s aggression.
Conflicts between Israel and Iran follows months of reciprocal actions. First Iran launched missiles on Israel , much of which Israel claimed was intercepted by its air defenses. Later Israel attacked military bases of Tehran.
Iran is a supporter of Hezbollah and Hamas. It is observing very closely the ongoing conflicts of Israel with its allies in Lebanon and Gaza.
At the start of Israel, Gaza conflict, Iran gave statements in favor of Hamas but later support Hamas by launching missile attack on Israel.
Now at this point in time both countries are opposing each other openly using their military power.
Noticing this escalating situation U.S. President Joe Biden urged both countries to avoid further conflicts amid fears of broader tensions in the Middle East.
