A 46-year-old employee of a childcare facility in Australia Ashley Paul Griffith has confessed to being involved in some of the worst sexual crimes in the country’s history.
The international reported that Ashley Paul Griffith admitted to 307 charges involving 60 children including 28 counts of rape, 90 counts of indecent behavior and 67 counts related to the production of child exploitation material.
The brutal offender not only committed these heinous acts but also recorded videos and took photos of the assaults which he sold on the dark web.
The police had been searching for him since 2014 and finally arrested him in 2022.
The perpetrator worked in various daycare centers in Australia and Italy for over 19 years. Most of the victims of these sexual crimes were under the age of 12.
In Brisbane’s District Court, the judge took more than two hours to read out the charges against the offender from Queensland. The judge became emotional and tearful while reading each crime.
It is worth noting that initially, Ashley Paul Griffith was charged with over 1,600 sexual offenses against 91 girls.
The ruthless offender will be sentenced in the next hearing.
