A Bannu-based Judicial Magistrate has issued arrest warrants for Islamabad Judge Humayun Dilawar, as well as for his father and brother, on the grounds that they are allegedly unlawfully holding valuable government land.
There are allegations of infringement on public property in this case.
Judge Humayun Dilawar, his brother Sadiq, and their father Dilawar Khan all had arrest warrants issued for them.
A arrest warrant was also issued for Mall Taj Mali Khan, the Assistant Registrar, who is also connected to the case.
Legal action was prompted by the accused’s alleged illegal occupation of a valuable piece of government land.
Humayun Dilawar was appointed as a Special Judge Central II last year. Dilawar was a district and sessions court judge who also convicted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan guilty in the Toshakhana case.
Imran Khan was detained from his Zaman Park home shortly after the decision. The PTI leader was then sent to the Attock Central Jail.
It is important to note that following the announcement of the Toshakhana case decision, Humayun Dilawar left for London.
