The National Action Plan (NAP) Apex Committee, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is slated to make important decisions today (Saturday), including those pertaining to the safety of Chinese laborers in Pakistan.
Numerous senior officials are present at the conference, including all inspector generals of police, federal ministers, chief ministers of the four provinces, and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir.
Important decisions pertaining to national security will also be made during the meeting. The conference’s primary focus was on how to improve the security of Chinese laborers operating within the nation.
Additionally, the panel will discuss talks with Chinese and Saudi Arabian investors.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister of the Interior Mohsin Naqvi, and Minister of Law Azam Nazir Tarar are also present during the meeting.
Reports claim that the Apex Committee is assessing issues related to both internal and external security while also receiving a briefing on border security.
According to reports, a review report on the National Action Plan’s execution is also on the agenda for the conference, along with an assessment of the state of law and order generally.
Reports state that the conference will also consider a report on the progress done thus far and receive an update on the tactics used to deal with undocumented Afghan residents. Also, a comprehensive briefing on all topics, including the National Action Plan, will be given to meeting participants.
