Space X Starship rocket has faced another failure during eighth test flight. The rocket lost the contact soon after the launch over the Gulf of Mexico.
The massive 403-foot rocket lifted off from Texas. It was destined for a controlled re-entry over the Indian Ocean.
Conversely, the rocket started spinning out of control and the contact was lost.
This caused the failure in planned action of releasing mock satellites.
The flight was meant to last an hour, however, meet the same fate as the previous one two months ago.
It was second of such failure, a similar incident earlier led to debris falling on Turks and Caicos.
Despite the glitches, Space X achieved a successful recovery of the first stage booster, with the help of mechanical arms at the launch pad.
During the testing passengers faced average delay of 45 minutes in flights from the Airports of Miami, Ford Lauderdale, Orlando and Palm beach.
The departing flights faced delays as Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued ground stops for airports in these areas.
The Starship carried the payload of four mock satellites, similar to star link satellites, as part of demonstration for upcoming missions.
The spacecraft reached the height of 90 mile and fell back to earth without releasing the satellites. The exact location of crash site is not clear.
However, the company is determined for further tests and has the goal of landing astronauts on moon
The company is making continuous changes in the design, including the flaps and fuel system to make improvements.
The probe into previous failure revealed that a leaking fuel system triggered a blaze that resulted in shutting down the engines.
