In a major crackdown, authorities arrested six suspects for selling drugs to students near educational institutions across the country.
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) spokesperson confirmed that officials conducted five separate operations within 24 hours to make the arrests.
During these operations, officials recovered approximately 15 kilograms of drugs valued at over Rs1.2 million. The seized substances included hashish, ecstasy tablets, ice, and liquor.
In Islamabad’s Farash Town, officials confiscated 150 grams of hashish and 10 ecstasy tablets from the suspects. In Lahore, near the university on Defense Road, authorities recovered 200 grams of hashish and 100 grams of ice. In another operation near Canal Road College, officials seized 2.4 kilograms of hashish, 100 grams of ice, and 50 ecstasy pills.
In Hyderabad’s Latifabad area, 96 bottles of liquor and 2 kilograms of hashish were seized from two suspects. Police found 10 kilograms of hashish during a raid near a university in Tondojam, Hyderabad.
