Al-Nassr, one of the best teams in Saudi Pro League 2024-2025, now 4th in world rankings, will meet Al Feiha in a proper duel.
On the other hand, Al Feiha is 13th out of a total of 18 teams in world ranking.
Relegation of the last three teams will occur at the end of the season, and therefore every point counts.
Recently Al Nassr won away from Al Wasl in the grand final very convincingly, 4-0. Goals came from Ali Alhassan, Cristiano Ronaldo (twice), and Mohammed Al Fatil, extending their winning streak to four matches.
They have recently won 3-1 over Al Khaleej, 3-1 over Al Fateh, and by the skin of their teeth 2-1 over Al Raed.
By virtue of this form, they are now placed third with 38 points, being ahead of Al Quadisiya on the goal difference.
Even with their good performance, Al Nassr has difficulties bridging the gap with Al Hilal and Al Ittihad, both of which have an eight point advantage.
Their inconsistency at home has been a major issue, as they have dropped points in four of nine matches.
In the meanwhile, the two best performing teams have unbeaten home records.
But Al Nassr has been the dominant team at home against Al Fayha winning eight of their last nine matches.
Al Fayha enters this match from a bad streak, having lost to Al Shabab and drawn to Al Taawoun.
They sit just two points above the relegation zone.
The new coach, Pedro Emmanuel, initially boosted outcomes, but recent performance problems have sparked concern.
However, Al Fayha’s away record is very poor, in fact, they have only seven points on the road so far in this season, which is one of the league’s poorest road teams.
Due to injury, Al Nassr will be without Sami Al Najei and Aymeric Laporte is not available for personal reasons.
Ali Lajami is then anticipated to play alongside Mohamed Simakan in defense. New signing Jhon Duran could start alongside Ronaldo, who leads the league’s scoring chart with 15 goals.
For Al Feiha, Henry Onyekuru could come back after injury layoff, and Rakan Kaabi is currently out of play.
Given Al Nassr’s superior form and attacking firepower, they are heavy favorites to secure a comfortable victory at home.
Al Fayha’s road defensive frailties also reinforce Al Nassr’s position of gaining this game.
