Previously, in an unfiltered dialogue with Ahmed Ali Butt on his podcast Excuse Me, the Malang songstress, boldly asserted that upcoming singer Nehaal Naseem had entirely imitated her, mimicking every detail from head to toe. Aima’s candid words on the matter echoed a mix of pride and recognition for the budding artist.
She stated, ‘There’s one girl I truly feel proud of, and that’s Nehaal. I recall her beginnings, and then she sounded precisely like me. If I were to highlight one of my proudest moments, it would be this because she essentially, completely copied me in every aspect.’
When questioned if this could be perceived as a compliment, Baig expressed her perspective, saying, ‘For me, it’s an accomplishment that I’ve inspired someone to the extent that they replicated me.’ She concluded the discussion by noting, ‘She even copied me; in terms of appearance.’

During another segment, Naughty Questions, of the podcast, Baig said that she wouldn’t get more tattoos, never take any hasty decisions and never share her personal life on the internet. “I might try acting,” Baig shared candidly.
The singer was then asked about some of the overrated singers in the industry to which she said she had a few male singers in mind that check the box as overrated performers but not female singers as they are still pretty underrated.
Aima Baig’s Breakup with Shehbaz Shigri
The Sadqa singer also discussed her messy breakup with Shehbaz Shigri whom she started dating in 2019 and announced their engagement in July 2021. In September of 2022, the former couple parted ways and Baig confirmed their separation. Post her announcement, british model Taloulah Mair claimed that the singer cheated on Shigri with Qes Ahmed during their engagement. However, Baig revealed that it was a mutual decision, but mainly hers.
