Showbiz actress Momina Iqbal announced the passing of her father early Thursday morning through her Instagram stories.
Early today, Iqbal shared the tragic news on Instagram, writing, “I am deeply saddened to inform you all that my father has passed away.” She quoted the Holy Quran, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raj’un,” which means “indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.”
She also provided details about the funeral, noting it would take place at Miani Sahab Qabristan on Bahawalpur Road, Lahore, at 7:30 AM on June 20th.
Condolences poured in from various social media users and showbiz personalities, who offered their sympathies to Iqbal and her family.
Last October, Momina Iqbal celebrated her parents’ 31st anniversary by sharing family outing photos and a heartfelt note on Instagram, expressing her gratitude for being the daughter of a ‘strong man’ and appreciating her parents for exemplifying lifelong love.
