Bollywood star and producer Aamir Khan will be back on the silver screen after a two-year hiatus, following his previous film ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ back in 2022.
Aamir acted as the main lead in Taare Zameen Par the movie was a blockbuster and now its sequel is expected to be released on the occasion of Christmas this year.
According to Indian media, this sequel film is an official Hindi remake of the famous Spanish film ‘Campiones’ (Champions) released in 2018.
As reported, the sequel is directed by RS Prasanna, whereas the film’s main leads are Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh, and Darsheel Safary.
In the acclaimed 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, the focus was on raising awareness about dyslexia. Similarly, the upcoming sequel, Satare Zameen Par, is set to shed light on a serious condition like Down Syndrome.
Previously, Taare Zameen Par was released in 2007, breaking many records. Aamir played the main role of an art teacher Ram Shankar Nikumb, who helped student, Ishaan Awasthi, overcome his dyslexia and bring out his hidden talents.
Ishaan Awasthi’s role was played by child star Darsheel in the film. Darsheel will be seen playing an important role in its sequel ‘Satare Zameen Par’. Taare Zameen Par fans and cinemagoers are eagerly waiting for this film.
