Imran Riaz Khan arrested by Punjab anti-corruption: lawyer

Imran Riaz Khan, a popular journalist and Youtuber of Pakistani media industry, was arrested by Punjab anti-corruption department, his lawyer has confirmed.

Why has Imran Riaz Khan been arrested again?

Mian Ali Ashfaq, the counsel and a close friend of Imran Riaz Khan, took to social media in the wee hours on Friday to update about the whereabouts of the journalist.

He said this was the seventh time in two years that Imran Riaz Khan has been detained in such manner.

However, it is yet unclear why the anti-corruption officials detained him.
