Suicide Blast At Jandola: Security forces prevented a terrorist assault in the Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by killing ten attackers.
Though the Pakistan Army responded quickly and eliminated the threat, reports suggest the attackers had aimed a military fort in Jandola.
Similar to the previous Bannu bombing, a suicide bomber exploded himself in a Suicide Blast At Jandola fort.
Security staff acted fast to avert more damage or fatalities.
At the same time, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces’ swift reaction against the assault.
He recognized the courage of the staff members who worked to put down the insurgents and commended their work.
Moreover, he stressed that the country really values the professionalism and commitment of its security forces.
The minister emphasized once more the government’s dedication to guaranteeing national security.
Pakistan has of late seen a surge in terror acts, including several events.
Unknown insurgents struck the Jafar Express train headed from Quetta to Peshawar just two days before this assault.
Rocket attacks on the engine of the train and gunfire from the attackers stopped it.
The assault left the train’s driver seriously hurt, sparking a fierce battle between the assailants and law enforcement.
Lasting two days, the military operation saved passengers and secured the region.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated all hostages were recovered.
