The video went viral on social media in which an elderly street vendor selling dates told his story of true love.
As per Vendor, decades ago, he lost his wife just a year into their marriage however, he never remarried.
The man explained it as a tragedy that could have driven anyone into despair. “Yet, instead of seeking companionship again, he made a silent vow to keep her memory alive, choosing to remain single for the rest of his life.”
He explained that with no children or family to support him, he has spent his years making a modest living by selling goods on the streets.
Each day, he carries on with quiet dignity, his heart still tethered to the love he once had.
