Abu Dhabi crown Prince Sheikh Khaled arrives in Pakistan for high-level discussions on official invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on Thursday.
President Asif Ali Zardari, First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, PM Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar received the esteemed visitor at Nur Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi.
A noteworthy event was captured on live broadcasts when PM Shehbaz carried an umbrella for the crown prince and himself as they arrived in the garrison city in the midst of wet conditions.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Wednesday that the visit demonstrates the long-standing fraternal connections between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
The crown prince is expected to hold lengthy talks with Pakistan’s leadership while he travels there in order to identify areas of shared interest, improve long-standing ties, and fortify investment and economic alliances.
In order to strengthen the current framework for bilateral collaboration, many agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) will also be signed during the visit.
It is anticipated that these agreements would open up new opportunities for cooperative projects and joint ventures, strengthening the two countries’ economic connections.
The UAE and Pakistan have continuously upheld a partnership based on respect, trust, and shared goals. Now this visit of prince is expected to enhance ties between the countries.
