Fakhar Zaman is no longer the part of champions trophy. He will not be traveling along the team for Dubai.
Pakistan is set to play the big match against India in Dubai on 23rd February.
However, its star opener Fakhar Zaman is now out of the tournament because of injury
Fakhar Zaman got injured while fielding in the first match of ICC champions Trophy against New Zealand.
Later, he went off the field and didn’t return for remaining overs for fielding.
The PCB officials initially said that he is been examined for muscle sprain. He also didn’t come to bat in open place.
However, the injured Fakhar Zaman came to bat at two down. He was facing difficulty while running. later, Fakhar got out after scoring 24 runs on 41 balls.
Pakistan lost Opener of ICC champions Trophy in Karachi against New Zealand. While chasing down the target of 321 runs Pakistan team was all out after scoring 260 runs in 47.2 overs
From Pakistani side Khushdil Shah scored some fast 69 runs on 49 balls.
While Babar Azam scored 64 on 90 balls, Salman Ali agha scored 42 on 28 balls.
Pakistan has faced a big setback before the big match against India.
Already Pakistan was playing with one Opener. Saim Ayub already was injured, however now Imam up Haq is expected to be added in the squad.
Earlier, he was the part of squad but couldn’t make his place to final squad for champions trophy.
