Indian actress and dancer Rakhi Sawant has recently arrived in Lahore to tie the knot with Pakistani actor Dodi Khan.
According to Indian media reports, Rakhi Sawant has confirmed her arrival in Lahore and stated that she is here to work with renowned Pakistani showbiz actress Hania Amir.
Rakhi revealed that Pakistani actor Dodi Khan proposed to her for marriage, and she happily accepted his proposal.
Their love story is now beginning a reality. Rakhi said, “Dodi is my love, and we love each other with all our hearts”.
She further stated that since Dodi is from Pakistan and she is from India, this will be a love marriage.
Rakhi Sawant also shared a video clip of Dodi Khan on her Instagram account, in which he can be seen asking Rakhi whether they should go to India or Dubai for their wedding. The video ends with Doti Khan sweetly saying “Love you”
Earlier, Rakhi Sawant had announced on her social media that she was coming to Pakistan to meet Hania Amir and had asked to be welcomed at the airport.
Later, in another video, she challenged Pakistani dancers like Nargis and Deedar to a dance-off.
Rakhi Sawant mentioned that her wedding in Pakistan will follow Islamic traditions, while the reception will be held in India.
She also stated that they plan to go to Switzerland or the Netherlands for their honeymoon and will start their new life in Dubai.
Meanwhile, addressing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the TikTok ban in India, Rakhi stated that if the ban is not lifted, she will be forced to move to Pakistan.
Taking the matter further, Rakhi mentioned that everything is set for the new chapter of her life in Dubai.
It is worth noting that this will be Rakhi Sawant’s third marriage. Her previous marriages to Adil Durrani and Ritesh Raj Singh failed.
