Frito-Lay has recalled its Lay’s Classic Chips in two states, Washington and Oregon due to the possible inclusion of undeclared milk, which could be harmful for individuals with a milk allergy.
Frito-Lay became aware of the undeclared milk issue after receiving a complaint from a customer. Over the complain Food and Drug Administration (FDA) addressed the issue.
Later the FDA announced the recall in December, affecting a limited number of 13 oz. bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips.
