Karachi weather is likely to face strong winds for two days accompanied by a potential drop in temperature.
As per Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) report Karachi will see light fog on Wednesday morning, along with intermittent strong winds over the next two days, including today and tomorrow.
For the coming 24 hours, the Met Office predicts that the port city’s weather will remain dry and pleasantly cool.
On Tuesday, the PMD recorded a minimum temperature of 12.5°C in Karachi, with forecasts suggesting it could dip further to between 11°C and 13°C in the next 24 hours.
The department also noted that humidity levels stood at 52%, with gentle breezes coming from the northeast.
According to the PMD report a new cold wave could sweep across several cities in Sindh, including Karachi, starting January 24. Temperatures in Karachi may drop to single digits during the final week of this month.
The meteorologist also indicated that these cold westerly winds might bring rainfall to various regions of the country, along with snowfall in mountainous areas.
