The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the rankings of ODI players, and the reign of former Pakistan captain Babar Azam continues among ODI batsmen and Shaheen Afridi has become the number-one bowler in ODIs.
According to the details, the ICC has released the new ODI rankings, in which Fakhar Zaman has advanced one place despite being on the sidelines.
Despite not being seen in action for several months, Fakhar Zaman has advanced one place with 623 points to reach 17th place.
In the Test rankings, Imam-ul-Haq, Muhammad Rizwan, and Saim Ayub maintained their positions and remained in 20th, 22nd, and 23rd place respectively.
In terms of one-day matches, Babar Azam continues to hold the top spot in the rankings, while India’s Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli are ranked second, third, and fourth respectively.
Shaheen Shah Afridi becomes the number one bowler in ODIs after a historic victory against Australia.
In the ODI bowling rankings, Haris Rauf is in 18th place with 585 points, while Naseem Shah has moved up to 50th, Wasim Junior has moved up two places to 59th, while Mohammad Nawaz remains at 72nd place.
Shaheen Afridi has moved up one place from third to fourth, while Sri Lanka’s Mahesh Thaksinah has replaced him.
Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and India’s Kuldeep Yadav remain in first and second positions.
In T20Is, Babar Azam joined the top 10 along with his teammate and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan after moving up 6 places and is at number 6, while Saim Ayub maintained his 57th position.
In the rankings, Australia’s Travis Head was first, England’s Phil Salt was second, and India’s Tilak Verma was third. Saim Ayub made a big jump in the ODI rankings.
In the T20 rankings, Shaheen Afridi managed to make it to number 21 after moving up, while Haris Rauf and Abbas Afridi dropped to number 29 and 44 after moving down.
