Court declares 9 FIA officials innocent in Greece ship incident

The Faisalabad court issued its decision based on the report submitted by the FIA in the Greece Ship Incident.

Faisalabad’s court has declared 9 FIA officials innocent in the Greece shipwreck case, and urgent care discharge from the case.

The FIA submitted a report to the court affirming the innocence of its employees, based on which the court announced its decision.

As per the reports 9 FIA employees had been arrested and formally charged for allegedly colluding and facilitating the illegal travel of citizens to Greece, where they became victims of the shipwreck.

The report presented by the FIA to the local sessions court in all these employees of any wrongdoing in the case.

Following the preliminary hearing, the court ordered the immediate release of the FIA employees, removing them from the case.

It is noteworthy that 18 young individuals who became victims of the Greek shipwreck had traveled via Faisalabad airport.
