What Did Pakistanis Search for Most in 2024?
Sports dominated the search trends, with the ICC T20 World Cup capturing the nation’s attention. Questions about the PSL 2024 schedule and matches, as well as players like Shoaib Malik and Sajid Khan, further highlighted Pakistani’s passion for cricket. Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem, who won Pakistan’s first gold medal in nearly three decades, also became a focus of attention.
This enthusiasm wasn’t limited to sports. Media personalities like Sana Javed and Zoya Nasir, Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, and social media figures like Hareem Shah and Minahil Malik were also widely searched.

Quick recipes like garlic bread and egg noodles, as well as seasonal beverages like peach iced tea highlighted the diverse taste preferences of the nation.
On the technology front, searches for Gemini and Remaker AI showcased the growing interest in AI tools, Queries about the latest smartphones from brands like Infinix, Redmi, Vivo, and Apple reflected a desire to stay connected.
“How-to” searches revealed the practical sides of users, with questions about polling stations in the election year and ways to keep flowers fresh longer reflecting everyday creativity. Parenting advice, especially on teaching four-year-olds how to share, underscored the importance of family values.
Farhan Qureshi, Google’s country director for Pakistan, remarked that the 2024 year in search report reflects a Pakistan deeply rooted in tradition while embracing the possibilities of the delight era.
“From the cricket field to the kitchen, from the silver screen to the search bar, Pakistanis are using Google to explore their passions, connect with their culture, and shape their future,” he said.
