Renowned Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane recently appeared in an interview with a digital platform, sharing insights about her acting journey and her academic achievements, including earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of London.
During the discussion, Mawra Hocane reflected on her decision to prioritize acting over her legal career, acknowledging the challenges of managing both paths simultaneously.
“Unfortunately, I couldn’t actively pursue my law degree. About five years ago, I was overly ambitious, thinking I could juggle both careers. But to truly excel in any field, it requires full dedication,” she remarked.
Hocane hinted at revisiting her legal aspirations in the future. “If I decide to become a lawyer, I’ll need to put in the same effort as I do for acting, which means stepping back from the entertainment industry,” she suggested.
The actress revealed that while she has completed her LLB, she is still working toward her bar qualification. She mentioned needing a dedicated nine-week period, ideally between August and October, to travel to London and finalize her bar exams. “Whenever I can carve out that time, I’ll go and complete it,” she said.
On the creative front, Hocane spoke about her enthusiasm for upcoming projects, stating, “I’m constantly reading scripts and exploring new approaches to enhance my craft. It’s an exciting process, and I feel more prepared than ever to dive into challenging roles.”
Hocane’s commitment to both her artistic and academic pursuits continues to inspire her fans, reflecting her passion for growth and excellence in every aspect of her life.
