In a sad event, a Russian actress lost her life in a frightening accident while practicing yoga at a popular tourist destination in Thailand.
A video going viral on social media shows 24-year-old actress Kamilla Belyatskaya being swept away by a wave on Koh Samui Island in Thailand. According to local police, Kamilla has arrived near the beach in a red car to practice yoga. While practicing on a large rock, a powerful wave pulled her into the sea, leading to her ultimate death.
Rescue teams reached the site 15 minutes after the incident. The search was stopped due to strong sea waves, but later they recovered the actress’s body from water.
“The Daily Mail” reported that Kamilla had been visiting the beach with her boyfriend. The location where the actress met her tragic fate was reportedly her favorite, as she found it to be the most peaceful spot.
Chaiyaporn Subprasert, head of the Samui rescue center stated the dangers of the monsoon season. He explained that tourists are frequently warned, especially at Chaweng and Lamai beaches, where red flags are placed signaling dangerous conditions and prohibiting swimming.
Learning from this tragic incident, authorities have strictly issued a complete ban on visiting the area where the accident occurred.
Kamilla’s death brought attention to the risks of unpredictable sea conditions during monsoon seasons and the need for heightened awareness among tourists in such regions.
