Renovation processes at Lahore’s famous Gaddafi Stadium have achieved almost 60% completion as preparations continues for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be held in the February-March.
The Gaddafi Stadium’s major modifications include the completion of flooring, the building of new seating frameworks, and the installation of contemporary lighting systems. The improvements are part of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) aim to raising the stadium to international standards, providing a world-class experience for both players and fans.
During his latest visit to the Gaddafi Stadium, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi inspected the current work in great detail. Naqvi was pleased with the rate of advancement, underlining the significance of maintaining excellent standards throughout the entire process.
“The project will be finished before the Champions Trophy at all costs,” according to Naqvi. “The entire team continues to work diligently, and I am personally monitoring the progress to ensure we finish on time.”
During his visit, Naqvi examined major elements of the Gaddafi Stadium, including as the main building, fences, and new lighting system. He emphasized the need of paying attention to every detail in order to achieve ICC standards and create a better environment for the eight-team event.
