The International Cricket Board ICC officials contact the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the participation in Champions Trophy 2025 Pakistan.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will respond to the ICC and the Indian board after consultation on the Indian cricket team’s non-participation in the Champions Trophy 2025 event in Pakistan.
As reported by the media, PCB has initiated contact with other boards to inform them about the Indian board’s attitude.
Whereas, Pakistan is completely against holding the Champions Trophy on a hybrid model, due to the Indian board’s stubbornness difficulties for ICC have increased.
While speaking to the media PCB Chairman added, that it’s not possible to receive an immediate response to the email from the ICC to the PCB.
On the other hand, ICC has contacted the Indian Board to know the concrete reasons for the refusal of the Indian team to join the event in Pakistan.
The ICC requested BCCI to review potential responses to the PCB’s queries, after which they will reply to the Pakistan Cricket Board’s email.
Indian board will receive a written stand-keeping of all the legal aspects in front, later ICC will send their reply to the Pakistan Cricket Board via email.
ICC officials are also consulting with other countries on the India-Pakistan dispute to find a lasting solution to the problem.
