The popular Saudi Arabian fast-food chain Al Baik is set to launch in Pakistan, boosting trade between the two nations.
Information Minister Attaullah Tarar announced that Al Baik would soon introduce the Arabian cuisine in Pakistan.
Tarar highlighted that Saudi Arabia’s investments in Pakistan have exceeded $6 billion. Now Al Baik’s entry into the Pakistani market would enhance the economic partnership between the two countries.
Minister added that Qatar is also interested to invest $3 billion, and Azerbaijan plans to contribute $2 billion to Pakistan’s economy.
It is pertinent to note that Al Baik’s entry into Pakistan is an important step for the agreement between Saudi Arabia’s Al Baik Food System Company and Pakistan’s Gas and Oil Pakistan Ltd.
The inaugural ceremony was held in Islamabad on October 10, 2024, attended by high-ranking officials, including Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih.
Al Baik, founded in 1974 in Jeddah, is a household name in Saudi Arabia and many other countries. The brand has 120 outlets across the Middle East
Now, Al Baik’s launching in Pakistan would strengthen Saudi-Pakistani relations. It would prove a milestone in trade and investment ties between the two countries.
