Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has received a death threat through a phone call, reportedly.
Following this threat call Bandra Police Station filed a case under sections 308(4) and 351(3)(4).
As per Mumbai police investigation the threat has come from a man named Faizan, a resident of Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Faizan made a call to the Bandra Police Station’s landline. After this warning a team from Mumbai Police has been sent to Raipur for further investigation.
According to media reports, the caller allegedly demanded a heavy amount in ransom to avoid harming the actor.
After this threat call Bandra police have enhanced the security of Shah Rukh Khan. However, Shah Rukh has yet to make a public statement regarding the recent death warning.
Earlier, Khan received similar threats in 2023 following the success of his films Pathaan and Jawan.
Mumbai Police has asked Khan not to meet fans outside his Mumbai residence due to security issues. However, Shah Rukh’s team has neither confirmed nor denied these reports.
It is pertinent to note that Bollywood star Salman Khan, has also received similar threats a couple of days ago.
These threats to Bollywood stars came amid the murder of political leader Baba Siddique, for which a member of Bishnoi’s gang took responsibility. In the same statement the gang also declared that Salman Khan is their next target.
Under these threat calls both Shah Rukh and Salman are taking additional precautions to ensure their safety.
