Dr. Mahira Khoja, a post-graduate medical student from Peoples Medical University, has discovered dead in her home.
The body of Dr Mahira with her throat slit open was found in the toilet of her home in Manoabad.
After this saddened incident Mahira’s father Ghulam Muhammad Khoja gave an official statement, revealing the reason of her daughter’s death.
Ghulam Muhammad Khoja disclosed that Mahira was battling depression for some time.
“Mahira was suffering from anxiety and depression for her FCPS Part One exam results. Overwhelmed by this anxiety she committed suicide by slitting her throat in the bathroom”, Ghulam Muhammad revealed.
This incident quickly drew the attention of internet users. Many rumors are circulating on social media about Mahira’s death. Some speculations say that it is not a suicide but a murder.
Local police is investigating about the incident. Officials delivered the dead body for postmortem to determine the exact cause of death. After the post-mortem, dead body was handed over to her family.
