Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit Saudi Arabia and Qatar on Tuesday.
According to media reports premier will visit Riyadh tomorrow, where he will participate in the 2024 Riyadh Investment Forum. PM is also likely to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman and other high Saudi officials.
After his visit to Saudi Arabia, Sharif will headed towards Qatar on October 31.
During his visit to Qatar Prime Minister will discuss different ways to strengthen ties between Pakistan and Qatar.
As per media reports Shehbaz will represent Pakistan at the Conference of the Parties (COP29) in Azerbaijan, attending the conference on November 11.
During the COP29 Pakistan delegation will showcase its ten leading climate-focused startups. These startups are focused to address greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental challenges.
Delegation will also present the project of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST).
NUST has established the Green-Tech Hub (G-TH) to drive the nation toward sustainable energy. This hub is to provide a platform for young entrepreneurs and industrialists to grow and expand green initiatives.
At the hub’s launch, Ignite CEO Salaal Hassan announced ten standout startups for COP29. These include innivations in agritech, energy, and related sectors. Three of them will receive extra support to boost fundraising and job creation.
