Karachi traffic police issued a public statement that several major roads will close temporarily tonight (Monday) to manage traffic around the National Stadium.
The Karsaz Road from Shahrah-e-Faisal to the National Stadium will close from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., according to a traffic police spokesperson.
Additionally, traffic coming from the nursery area won’t head toward the airport.
However, those traveling from Shahrah-e-Faisal can still access Shaheed Millat Road via the Baloch Bridge underpass.
Another affected area is Sir Shah Sulaiman Road, leading to the stadium from University Road, which will also close from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.
Alternative routes are available via Jail Flyover, PP Chowrangi, and Shaheed Millat Road.
The road from Liaquatabad to the stadium via Hassan Square will also close during this period.
Commuters should plan their routes accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
