The United Kingdom, UK government has issued a travel advisory for 18 countries due to Israeli airstrikes on Iran. The travel advisory includes the most famous Christmas holiday destinations like Dubai, Tunisia, and Egypt, popular among British tourists.
According to the official report, the travel advisory includes Cyprus, Turkey, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Tunisia, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Morocco, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Israel, and Libya.
The notification from the UK Ministry of Defence warned the travelers that conflict between Israel, Iran, and Lebanon could escalate, which could affect neighboring countries.
The government notified the public to check the UK Foreign Office’s latest guidance before traveling to the destination.
The British Foreign Office has issued a travel warning for several countries, advising British people to avoid traveling, especially to Iran.
Additionally, British travelers should stay cautious when visiting certain areas of Egypt, particularly North Sinai and the Libya border.
Note that Iran fired about 200 ballistic missiles at Israel on October 1. After this, the Iran-Israel conflict has intensified. In response, Israel also took military action against Iran on October 26.
