PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan revealed that Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), met with a medical team in Adiala Jail on Tuesday.
PTI requested a medical test after voicing worries over the former prime minister’s health, which prompted the visit.
“A physician and an ENT specialist visited Khan Sahib in Adiala Jail today at approximately 4 p.m.,” Barrister Gohar said. “Earlier, we learned that, by God’s grace, Khan Sahib is doing well and even finished an hour of physical activity today.”
Barrister Gohar promised that PTI will get medical reports and make them public as soon as possible. “I express my gratitude to all PTI workers and supporters who voiced concerns regarding Khan Sahib’s health,” he continued.
PTI has previously vowed to stage a demonstration at D-Chowk in Islamabad if their leader did not receive medical care. After the government promised to provide Imran Khan with adequate medical care, the party finally canceled the demonstration.
A team of physicians will be dispatched to Adiala Jail for the checkup after Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi contacted PTI leadership. PTI leadership made the decision to call off protest preparations in the wake of this development.
In order to allay PTI’s worries about their leader’s condition while incarcerated, the medical team—which includes Imran Khan’s personal doctor—is anticipated to provide a thorough health report shortly.
