Rape and harassment cases in different educational institutions of Lahore have created panic among general public and students.
It led to the closing down of campuses by administration and protests by the students.
Police have clashed with the protesters, injuring many girls.
Reports say a first year student of Punjab Group of Colleges (PGC) Campus 10 in Lahore was allegedly raped on October 13 at college basement by security guard.
Victims was later shifted to ICU.
Students lodged protest against it at college, closing down adjacent roads. They raised slogans for justice of the victim.
Police tried to stop them which resulted injuries to 27 students mainly
Amid the situation, police reported another harassment case in Lahore College University of Women.
LCWU students hold protest against the increasing harassment cases in the institution. The protestors said university male staff frequently harass them.
Students of LCWU blocked the Jail Road for against harassment cases.
While police was investigating about these cases another traumatic incident happened at Punjab University. Reports say two student of Punjab University Lahore committed suicide.
Police found body of one girl hanging from a ceiling fan in a room of PU Girls Hostel.
Reports say she was student at the Institute of Education and Research (IER) and committed suicide due to harassment issue.
