Saba Qamar announced the news on her Instagram account, thanking the international organization for this honorable designation. The actress is determined to continue working for the welfare of children through the platform of UNICEF.
Saba posted pictures from her visit with the children, expressing that she had the privilege of meeting some truly strong and beautiful individuals.
UNICEF has appointed Saba Qamar as Pakistan’s first National Ambassador for Child Welfare.

Saba will focus on critical issues like violence against children, sexual harassment, mental health, and child marriage.
Pakistan ranks sixth in the world for child marriages, with 500,000 girls giving birth before turning 18.
Previously, Saba consistently spoke out against violence and exploitation of both children and women through her social media and acting.
