Prominent Islamic Scholar Dr. Zakir Naik faced backlash from actress Mishi Khan over his controversial remarks and criticism of Pakistan and its national airline.
In a video shared on Instagram, Mishi Khan criticized Dr. Naik, saying, “Zakir Naik, who was a state guest, has completed his visit and returned. Just like Javed Akhtar spoke negatively about Pakistan when he went to India, Zakir Naik is also speaking ill of the national airline,”.
She further expressed her frustration, saying, “What were you carrying with six people and a thousand kilos? If 500 kilos were allowed, being a state guest doesn’t mean you take advantage and carry everything for free,”.
Commenting on Dr. Naik’s remarks about India, Mishi said, “Clearly, you have to live in India, and you are aware of the circumstances there. Because if you say even a little bit, people will respond harshly.”

Regarding Dr. Naik’s controversial statements about women, Mishi expressed her anger, saying, “I am deeply saddened that you use such words about women. You should educate men, fear God, and choose your words wisely.”
Mishi Khan urged the government not to grant state guest status and protocol to individuals like Zakir Naik and Javed Akhtar, questioning why the government invites those who enjoy Pakistan’s hospitality only to speak negatively about it afterward. “If India is so good, they should stay there. Do we have any self-respect or not?”
