In a major development, the Saudi schools has started to train female teachers in music education across the country.
The latest reports suggested that for the Saudi education system, the training of female teachers for music education is currently in progress.
Noor Al-Dabagh, Director of Planning at the Saudi Ministry of Culture, announced this initiative during the Learn Conference held in Riyadh.
Al-Dabagh highlighted that the kingdom is implementing major changes in its education system, with plans to include music education in the curriculum starting from primary classes. She revealed that over 9,000 female teachers are being trained by the Ministry of Culture to deliver music education in schools.
Besides it, Al-Dabagh noted that arts and culture will also be integrated into the educational curriculum, marking a progressive step towards enriching the educational experience for students in Saudi Arabia.
