The pharmaceutical business Citi Pharma Limited (CPHL) of Pakistan is building a medical center in Lahore that will include a 200-bed hospital and a university that teaches medical science.
The news was disclosed in the listed pharmaceutical production and sales company’s annual report, which was submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) early Wednesday.
The pharmaceutical business said in its report that, as an element of its vertical diversification plan, it is building a medical facility in Lahore.

There is currently a lack of high-quality healthcare services in Lahore.
According to the statement, the corporation plans to build a 200-bed state-of-the-art healthcare facility at this site to accommodate the needs of a very populous metropolis.
In addition to being a part of our larger plan to broaden our commercial reach, these initiatives will help Pakistan’s medical care and schooling sectors by encouraging innovation and preparing the country’s future medical workforce, according to Rizwan Ahmad, CEO of CPHL.
In addition to the hospital, CPHL plans to build a medical university in Lahore.
Nutraceutical exports to the US were started by CPHL last month.
