In response to the upcoming protest organized by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at D-Chowk in Islamabad, the All Pakistan Private Schools Association has decided to close all private schools in the capital on Friday.
This measure aims to mitigate potential disruptions and road closures linked to the demonstration.
Waheed Khan, General Secretary of the Private Schools Association, emphasized the importance of student safety in his statement. He noted the significant challenges students faced due to container blockades that hindered transportation throughout the city. To alleviate any further difficulties and prioritize student well-being, the association has opted to suspend classes for the day.
Additionally, Quaid-e-Azam University has also declared a closure for Friday, citing similar concerns regarding road blockages. The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has followed suit, issuing a holiday announcement through its administration.
The planned PTI protest has led to these preventive measures from educational institutions to ensure the safety of both students and staff amid the anticipated disruptions.
