Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Information Advisor Barrister Saif has alleged that Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, is facing mistreatment in Adiala Jail under orders from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
According to Barrister Saif, Bushra Bibi has been subjected to repeated and intrusive searches in front of cameras by prison officials, while also being mentally harassed by being woken up during the night, as reported by ARY News.
He claimed that “efforts are being made to break Imran Khan through his wife.”
However, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari dismissed the accusations, stating that Maryam Nawaz is unaware of Bibi’s exact location within Adiala Jail.
Bokhari added that Bushra Bibi has access to meals like eggs and chicken, and Maryam Nawaz has no concern over it.
