The fare for the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system has risen once more, sparking concern among local commuters.
According to a spokesperson, the new fare for buses operating on the express route has now reached 55 rupees.
The spokesperson explained that this fare increase mainly affects people who travel short distances.
Passengers who get off after one or two stops should avoid using the express route to avoid paying higher fares.
It’s worth noting that this fare hike follows a previous increase of ten rupees per stop that occurred just a few months ago.
