On Saturday, WhatsApp users in Karachi experienced difficulties when attempting to share media files over the app while using mobile connection.
According to the outage tracking website Downdetector, WhatsApp users have been experiencing issues since 10:00 am.
Essential services suffered as a result of the outage, with customers complaining that they could not upload media files when using mobile connection.
Wi-Fi connections, however, may be used to send and receive voice messages as well as video files.
Minister of State Fahd Haroon and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Digital Media received a question in this respect. However, up until the publishing of this article, we did not hear back.
