LAHORE: During the ongoing crackdown on gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad and disconnected another 273 connections with a Rs2.9 million fine imposed on the pilferers.
In Lahore, the regional team disconnected 22 connections on illegal use of gas while another 15 on use of compressor and fine of Rs0.22 million have been booked against gas theft cases.
The team of Rawalpindi disconnected 3 connections on illegal use of gas.
During the operation in Islamabad team disconnected 5 connections on illegal use of gas.
In Multan the team disconnected 14 connections on use of compressor and 0.25 million booked against gas theft cases.
In Peshawar and Karak, the company disconnected 50 connections on account of direct and illegal use of gas and amount of Rs1.67 million have been booked against gas theft cases. The team also lodged one FIR against gas pilferers.
The team of Abbotabad disconnected 2 connections on illegal use of gas.
In Sahiwal, the team disconnected three connections on use of compressor.
In Sheikhupura 52 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas while another 3 on compressor use and amount of Rs 0.13 million booked against gas theft cases.
The team of Bahawalpur disconnected 86 connections on illegal and direct use of gas and also imposed fine of Rs 0.376 million against gas theft cases.
In Faisalabad the team disconnected 5 connections on illegal use of gas while another 2 on use of compressor.
The team disconnected 10 connections on illegal use of gas and amount of Rs 0.11 million have been booked against Gas theft cases in Mardan.
In Sialkot the team disconnected 1 connection on illegal use of gas and also imposed fine of Rs0.19 million against gas pilferers.
