Actors Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor are set to collaborate on a new romantic film, scheduled to hit theaters on February 7, 2025.
The film, that still awaits an official title, will be directed by renown director Advait Chandan, best known for his critically acclaimed works Secret Superstar and Laal Singh Chaddha.
Chandan’s latest venture is expected to dive deep into the complexities of modern relationships, with a focus on how social media influences human connections.
Both Junaid, son of Bollywood legend Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, and Khushi, daughter of the late superstar Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, have been generating considerable buzz for their upcoming performances.
The on-screen pairing of these two rising stars has stirred excitement across the industry and among fans alike.
Phantom Studios, the production house behind the film, heightened anticipation by sharing a teaser on Instagram.
The post, featuring a sleek poster of the duo against a contemporary setting, teased fans with the message: “Get ready to witness love in the digital era with @khushi05k and #JunaidKhan, coming to cinemas on 7th February 2025! Directed by @advaitchandan.”
In support of her sister, actress Janhvi Kapoor took to social media to express her excitement, calling the film a “special” project.
Both Junaid and Khushi have already made notable entries into the film industry. Junaid debuted in Maharaj, a Netflix production based on the historic Maharaj Libel Case of 1862, which garnered attention for his strong performance.
Meanwhile, Khushi made her debut in The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, where she shared the screen with other star kids like Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda.
