Pakistan is a hive of activity on Tuesday, the day of Eid Milad Un Nabi, which honors the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
While Muslims all over the world celebrate this anniversary on the 12th of Rabi ul Awal in different ways, Pakistan stands out for celebrating this day with vividly lit buildings and streets, most of which are decorated with green lights.
Muslims celebrate this day with prayer services, milad events, and processions. The three processions scheduled for today on the MA Jinnah Road, which will be blocked for the day, have prompted the Karachi Traffic Police to also release a thorough traffic diversion plan.
PM Shehbaz Sharif stated that “the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) hold the key to solving the problems confronting the Muslim Ummah and Pakistan” in his speech on the day of Eid Milad ul Nabi.
“We must set aside our disagreements and make a commitment to work toward the nation’s and the country’s growth. The prime minister declared, “The 12th of Rabi ul Awal is a day of prosperity when Allah Almighty gave upon humanity an ideal guidance.”
He emphasized that the life and character of the Holy Prophet (SAW) serve as “a torch of enlightenment for us.”
According to PM Shehbaz, “Every act and decree of the Holy Prophet (SAW) is an example of how humanity can be led on the path toward growth based on the values of compassion, understanding, and justice.”
