On Wednesday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 shook parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Islamabad.
The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) reports that the earthquake’s epicenter was 10 kilometers deep and was situated in the DG Khan (Shadi Wala), Punjab.
There were heavy tremors in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Jhang, and Chiniot.
Dera Ismail Khan, in Malakand, was also affected by the earthquake.
Its latitude was 31.29 North and its longitude was 70.51 East.
There were no reports of fatalities or property damage.
A 5.4-magnitude earthquake that struck on August 29 struck Charsadda, North Waziristan, Peshawar, Swat, Mardan, Malakand, and the adjacent districts.
Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad were all affected by the earthquake.
