BALAKOT – Eight people were killed and several others wounded as a vehicle carrying tourists fall into a ravine in the Gittidas area near Babusar Pass.
Several mountainous regions, especially in KP and GB, saw huge tragedies, and now several people were killed and scores injured.
The incident occurred near Getti Das, near the picturesque Babusar Top, police said over the weekend.
It was reported that a tourist family from Sahiwal was traveling in coach, when it met an accident and plunged off the hilly road and seen ablaze.
The deceased were identified as Maqsooda Bibi, Hammad, Mohammad Sarfraz, Rida, Saqib, Talha, Waqas and Irfan. Injured passengers including Zahid, Abdul Malik, Zeenat Maryam, Ayesha, Atiya, Amina Urooj and others, they added.
