Terrorists killed 23 people in a shocking incident occurred in Musakhel district of Balochistan.
Reports say victims belonged to Punjab and were travelling through buses and truck.
Terrorists offloaded them from vehicles and killing the innocents after checking their identity card.
Police say terrorists blocked the inter-provincial highway at Rarasham point of Musakhel. They offloaded travellers from buses and shot them to dead. They set fire 10 buses and trucks, police say, confirming the victims belonged to Punjab.
Law enforcement agencies have shifted the dead bodies to the local hospital. They also sealed the area and started search operation.
Condemnation:
President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti have condemned the terrorism. They vowed strict actions against the attackers and perpetrators. They expressed condolence with the families of the victims, terming the attack cowardly.
“The terrorists and their facilitators will not be able to escape,” said the Balochistan CM.
The Musakhel attack comes months nearly four months after a similar attacks targeting people from Punjab. In April, nine passengers and in October last year six labourers from Punjab were killed in similar incidents in Balochistan.
