Ayesha Jahanzeb, a prominent TV host and actress, has come forward with shocking allegations of abuse by her husband, Haris Ali, leading to his arrest in Lahore.
The incident unfolded when Ayesha filed a First Information Report (FIR) at Sarwar Road police station, detailing multiple instances of physical assault by her husband over recent years, including a particularly brutal attack on July 8.
In her complaint, she described Haris as aggressive and recounted how he allegedly entered their home that day, violently attacking her and dragging her by her hair, resulting in severe injuries to her face, head, and other parts of her body.
Ayesha claimed that her children witnessed the assault, and the intervention of their electrician and driver prevented further harm before Haris fled the scene.
Police swiftly responded to Ayesha’s complaint, leading to Haris Ali’s arrest. He has since been placed in custody pending further legal proceedings.
Ayesha Jahanzeb, known for her roles in shows like “Burns Road Ke Romeo Juliet” and her hosting stints on programs like “Khabarnak,” has garnered widespread admiration for her work in the entertainment industry.

Earlier, Model and Salon Owner Zainab Jamil become victim of assault on accounts of her husband in Lahore.
Zainab narrowly escaped an assassination attempt. The incident occurred near J Block Park during daylight as she was leaving her salon and walking towards her car.
CCTV footage capturing the incident was circulated online, revealing two unidentified attackers firing shots at her. Zainab Jamil later claimed that her husband orchestrated the failed assassination attempt. She survived the attack and made the accusation in a video recorded at a Lahore hospital, which she shared on Instagram. “The assault was carried out by my husband, who has been threatening me for the past two months,” she asserted in the video.
