Pakistan has sent its ninth cargo of humanitarian goods to Palestine, according to a Friday announcement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
The approximately 300 tons of supplies, which includes food packs, hygiene kits, and medications, are headed to Aqba Port in Jordan before being sent to Gaza.
This supply comes after Islamabad sent out eight prior shipments that included food packs, surgical supplies, winterized tents, blankets, and feminine dignity kits.
Pakistan had before sent several consignments of aid to Gaza. According to the demands on the ground in Gaza, the cargo included heated tents, tarpaulins, blankets, surgical and medical equipment, dry food items, and hygiene kits.
The supplies were delivered to Al Arish, Egypt, where they were accepted by the Pakistani envoy. From there, they were sent to their ultimate destination.
According to local health officials, since October 7, Israel has murdered close to 37,800 Palestinians, the majority of whom were women and children, and injured over 85,100 more.
Large areas of Gaza were in ruins more than eight months into the Israeli-Gaza conflict, and there was a terrible shortage of food, potable water, and medical supplies.
