Coming from a lineage of musicians, Mehdi Hassan received his initial musical training from his father, Ustad Azeem Khan. His deep passion for Urdu poetry led him to compose soul-stirring ghazals, drawing inspiration from literary giants like Faiz Ahmad Faiz and Ahmad Faraz.
